Water sports are one the best way to release stress. Families or friends find in water sport a great way to spend time outdoor, doing their favorite activity or discovering one. Wakeboarding involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of water. It combines water skiing, snow boarding and surfing techniques, but is surprisingly easy to enjoy: progress is almost faster than for its associated sports. It makes it a favorite hobby and has gained in popularity very quickly.
Water skiing appeared 90 years ago in France. It remains one of people’s favorite sea activity. The rider dons skis and is pulled by a motorboat. It can be technically complex, but once mastered, surprisingly diversified figures can be developed by the skiier.
Wake skating is similar to wakeboarding. The rider skates behind a boat on a specially designed board with no bindings, thus giving the sports its own set of unique challenges. Think of it as skateboarding on water, only more exciting!
Wake surfing appeared less than 15 years ago and has gained in popularity very quickly since then. A rider surfs the boat's wake without being directly attached to the boat. The wake from the boat mimics the look and feel of an actual ocean wave. It is a good way to practise surfing and is a lot of fun.
Also available for beginners - Kneel-boarding
A kneeboard is a board ridden in a kneeling stance while being towed behind a boat. It is a good way to gain confidence with water sport before moving on to wakeboarding, wakesurfing or water skiing.
